Duties
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans including skill acquisition programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans
- Provide crisis support
- Develop trainings for staff and families
- Assist with research initiatives
- Serve on the admissions committee
Requirements
- Must have: Doctorate degree in Clinical or School Psychology; A license to practice psychology in New York State or eligibility for licensure
- BCBA or BCBA-D preferred
- Well-qualified post-doctoral candidates may be considered with a commitment to remain at the Center once license is obtained
- At least 4 years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary team and adapt easily to change
- Strong initiative and openness to new ideas
