Clinical Psychologist
About the role
As a Clinical Psychologist for the ND State Hospital (NDSH), you will provide a broad array of services, involving complex cases requiring advanced expertise. You will provide psychological assessments, psychotherapy, and court testimony. You will also participate in consultation and training with individuals, families, agency staff, and, at times, community partners. If interested, you may also have the opportunity to supervise students.

Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners
- Two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Psychologist
Qualifications
- Comfortable with completing all components of psychological assessment
- Previous experience providing consultation and training
- Experience in forensic assessment and conducting evaluations

In addition to Board-approved supervision on site, HHS psychologists communicate across our system frequently and offer training and consultation, which allows for sharing expertise and knowledge. This support helps newer psychologists develop evaluation skills in specialty expertise areas that we use in completing psychological evaluations required through ND Century Code within HHS.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The schedule for this position is flexible and can vary based on the needs of the department.

The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
