About the role
Glenwood Behavioral Therapy Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist passionate about working with children and families to join our growing, collaborative team. This is an opportunity to practice in a mission-driven, innovative, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and families, including autism and neurodevelopmental assessments.
- Implement evidence-based therapies such as PCIT, CBT, and DBT for children, adolescents, and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including referral coordination and scheduling.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completed a postdoctoral fellowship.
- Licensed in Alabama, or eligible for licensure (support available).
- Experience with autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, including Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders (ADOS-2 a plus).
- Strong knowledge of the DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and familiarity with administering psychological testing instruments.
- Familiarity with implementing evidence-based therapies, particularly for children and families.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completed a postdoctoral fellowship.
- Licensed in Alabama, or eligible for licensure (support available).
- Preferred experience with autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, including Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders (ADOS-2 a plus).
- Strong knowledge of the DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and familiarity with administering psychological testing instruments.
- Familiarity with implementing evidence-based therapies, particularly for children and families.

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
A flexible Monday-Friday schedule with occasional travel for school-based assessments and consultations.
