Clinical Project Manager I

What You Will Do

  • Project Management: Develop, manage and execute work plans, deliverables and project reports/updates.
  • Collaborate with management to set project/operational priorities, resources and risks.
  • Project Execution: Manage project execution including milestones, documentation, schedules, roles, responsibilities and progress.
  • Complete post-project evaluations to determine project outcomes.
  • Develop tools and processes to support projects and division operations.
  • Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting: Coordinate and perform data collection (e.g., databases, surveys). Conduct basic qualitative and quantitative analysis and communicate results. Identify opportunities for data reporting and collaborate to facilitate data requests.
  • Assist with other operational needs including professional practice evaluations (OPPEs), provider letters and scorecards.
  • Communication: Manage communications and relationships with project stakeholders. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and coach project team members. Provide education on project management, improvement tools and methodologies.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years relevant project coordination / management experience Required in a healthcare or research related environment
  • PREFERRED: Project Management Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • PREFERRED: Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) - American Society for Quality (ASQ)

Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines (PMBOK) including productivity tools, project charters, work plans and budgets.
  • Intermediate knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Basic knowledge of electronic medical record software (EPIC).
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • Solid conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Licenses and Certifications

  • PREFERRED: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • PREFERRED: Project Management Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • PREFERRED: Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) - American Society for Quality (ASQ)

SALARY RANGE: $69,200.00 - $88,200.00 Annually
