About the role

The Clinical Program Therapist 3 - SUD Release Planner is responsible for providing discharge planning services for identified chemically dependent Incarcerated Persons being released from Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Lino Lakes (LL).

Responsibilities

  • Provide discharge planning services to Incarcerated Persons with chemical dependency issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Teach psycho-educational courses and facilitate group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Manage daily program operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent.
  • Three years post-licensure experience providing clinical services to clients with chemical dependency and/or co-occurring issues.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Psychology preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minnesota licensure or licensure eligibility as a Mental Health Professional.
  • Experience leading other behavioral health staff.
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of chemical dependency programming.
  • Proficiency in individual and group therapy methods and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to provide lead work direction to other staff.

Schedule

Day shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
