About the role

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for collaboration, development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of programs/systems that enhance professional practice outcomes within the healthcare medical team. They share accountability for overseeing education, clinical practice and safety protocols in conjunction with implementing new standards of care. They role model proactive, values-driven working relationships across the organization in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. They assure practice is in accordance with JCAHO standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria and professional practice/scope of practice. They develop effective relationships to lead, role model, collaborate and effectuate change. They participate and guide in the selection and hiring of key clinical positions within the division.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement programs/systems enhancing professional practice outcomes.
  • Oversee education, clinical practice and safety protocols in conjunction with new standards of care.
  • Model proactive, values-driven working relationships across the organization.
  • Affirm practice is in compliance with JCAHO standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria and professional practice/scope of practice.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships to lead, role model, collaborate and effectuate change.
  • Select and hire key clinical positions within the division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse including both areas of ambulatory care and acute care nursing. 7 years preferred.
  • 3 years Supervisory/management experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
