Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with acute and sub-acute illnesses consistent with privileges granted.
- Utilizes advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess patients and manage their care, utilizing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Communicates pertinent clinical issues to the collaborating/supervising physician and facilitates arrangements for consultation, follow-up, and/or intervention.
Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant in New York, Current NYS license
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant approved program with recorded certification
- Or Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York, Current NYS license
- Graduated Degree as Nurse Practitioner
- Infection Control Training certificate required
- Current licensure

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness, and non-verbal communication
Working Conditions
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking
- Works in office area and patient rooms throughout the facility
- Working hours are varied, works beyond normal working hours or weekend coverage as necessary
- Exposure to infectious diseases and uses appropriate personal protective equipment
