Clinical Practice Coordinator

About the Role

As a Clinical Practice Coordinator, you will provide essential leadership and strategic oversight, driving the implementation and optimization of clinical initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. You will manage project timelines and deliverables, facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, develop and implement best practices, and track progress to ensure successful project completion and desired outcomes.

You will use advanced knowledge, clinical practice experience, research, critical thinking, and transformational leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to promote excellence and quality clinical care and outcomes. Serving as a consultant to healthcare professionals and consumers, you will collaborate within the healthcare system and the community, participate in division-wide clinical councils and committees, and identify educational and clinical needs of the healthcare team.

You will lead and participate in achieving nursing and clinical division and organization goals, initiate and participate in new programs and innovations, including performance and quality improvement activities, and act as a change agent to drive strategy and innovation within nursing and clinical practice.

Evaluating, communicating, and utilizing current evidence in practice, education, and consultation, you will use a process of needs assessment, education planning and design, program implementation, and evaluation to develop comprehensive clinical education and staff development, demonstrating measurable program outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required upon hire)
• Minimum two years of clinical practice as a registered nurse (required upon hire)
• Master of Science in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required upon hire or actively enrolled in a graduate-level program within 18 months of hire)
• Doctorate of Science in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (alternative to master’s, required upon hire or actively enrolled in a graduate-level program within 18 months of hire)
• Registered Nurse licensure in Nebraska (required upon hire)
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification (required upon hire)

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of clinical practice as a registered nurse (preferred)
• Two years in a leadership role (preferred)

$47.14 - $68.36 per hour
