Responsibilities

  • Review and validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to OCH policies and procedures.
  • Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
  • Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects to supervisors.
  • Collect and maintain basic patient information to ensure accurate planning of materials, supplies, and prescriptions.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic patient questions and responding to requests.
  • Receive, verify, stock, and store incoming supplies and materials.
  • Review expiration dates, identify shortages, pick and pack materials, and create tickets.
  • Track inventory through accurate data entry into applicable systems.
  • Schedule routine patient deliveries.
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
  • Clean and organize supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
  • Successful enrollment and completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire (if required by state).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Able to perform basic and intermediate-level mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and carry at least 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience is preferred.

Pay

Pay Range is $17.02-$28.38. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
