Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organizing, and directing clinical pharmaceutical services.
• Improves drug usage and therapeutic outcomes for patients through specialized pharmaceutical services.
• Collaborates with pharmacy managers to develop training and education programs and evaluation processes for clinical activities.
• Prepares formulary review and medication use evaluations for the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams related to clinical pharmacy initiatives.
• Achieves and maintains participatory management and partnerships with other clinical specialists.
• Achieves and maintains satisfactory working relationships with pharmacy leadership, staff, and other hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Doctorate Degree.
• PA Pharmacy License must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
