About the Role
The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist I is expected to take responsibility for establishing and expanding clinical services in their area of practice. They will develop medication protocols, order sets, and facilitate medication utilization reviews and performance improvement projects to optimize drug therapy. This role provides mentorship and serves as a clinical resource for staff and other healthcare providers in their area of expertise. They also contribute to clinical activities for various pharmacy department programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes and perform drug distributive functions as assigned. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with patients' growth and development based on population groups and meet quality standards through the quality improvement process.
Qualifications
- Degrees: Doctorate
- Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacist
- Additional Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
- If no residency training, must have 5 years of practice experience in the area of specialty and Board Certification
- PGY1 residency with 2 years of practice experience in the area of specialty and Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification
- PGY2 residency must obtain BPS certification within 1 year of hire
- Minimum Required Experience: 5 Years

Pay
Estimated salary range for this position is $118,907.47 - $154,579.71 / year depending on experience.
