Clinical Pharmacist - Salem Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated and clinically driven Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of procurement, distribution, and control of medications throughout the hospital
• Evaluation and provision of comprehensive drug information to providers, staff, and patients
• Monitoring of medication therapies to promote safe and effective drug use
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Supervision and support of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students
• Contribution to departmental initiatives, workflow improvements, and quality assurance efforts
• Maintenance of compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and best practices in pharmacy care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy environment (preferred)
• New graduates considered with at least 2 years of clinical experience as a pharmacy intern

• Good analytical skills
• Ability to manage a large number of tasks simultaneously and anticipate future needs
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of professionals and non-professionals
• 2 years experience in a clinical setting as a pharmacy intern
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical environment
• Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Current licensure as a Pharmacist by the State of Massachusetts

Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both clinical and non-clinical staff
Proficiency with computer applications and pharmacy systems

$127,000 - $160,000/Annual
