About the role

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members to improve health quality outcomes (e.g., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This role offers the opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration, providing an incredible team culture with daily learning and evolution. If you reside within a commutable distance of Houston, TX, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* with monthly in-office requirements and daily in-office attendance during the initial 3-week training period.

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic outreach to improve health quality outcomes.
  • Optimize pharmacy therapy through additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies.
  • Oversee pharmacy projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide responses to drug information requests.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
  • Coach, provide feedback, and guide others.
  • Improve CAHPS member experience results as measured by CAHPS scores, contributing to over 35% of Star Ratings, and Medication Adherence at 14%.
  • Make outbound calls to CAHPS detractors and Medication Adherence members to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence.
  • Document and track member engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Pharmacy.
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist.
  • 3+ years of patient consultation experience while working as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Beginner level of proficiency navigating MS Office and Windows-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharm D.
  • Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience.

Pay

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
