Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient, Part Time

About the role

Ensure patients receive their prescriptions accurately, timely and respectfully. Select, dose, administer and dispense medications as indicated, helping provide the treatments they need to improve their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispenses medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards.
• Directs staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire

Preferred qualifications

• Board Certification
• Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience

Skills

Knowledge of pharmacology, clinical pharmacy practice, and regulatory requirements.

Pay

Minimum Annual Salary: $101,900.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $155,390.00

Schedule

Part Time Shift: Day/Evening Rotation
