About the Role
Part-time position (40 hours per 2-week pay period) with rotating shifts, primarily swing and PM shifts (12:30 PM–9:00 PM and 2:30 PM–11:00 PM). Requires working every other weekend and rotating holidays (3 per year).
Requirements
- Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (preferred).
- Clinical residency with a minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy practice experience or minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy practice experience.
- Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License.
- Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross (within six weeks of hire).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (or within 90 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating clinical pharmacy services to ensure optimal daily operations.
- Support the development of new pharmacy services and clinical workflows.
- Facilitate staff education and development to maintain competency.
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel to sustain clinical programs.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies.
