Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm D. or BS degree
- Active membership in the Maryland Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
- Registered or eligible to be registered in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacist
Additional Duties
- Order verification
- Kinetics dosing
- Reviewing medication history notes from medication history pharmacy technicians
- Checking of any medications and/or preparations (sterile and non-sterile items) dispensed from the pharmacy
Skills
- Familiarity with Epic
- Medication carousels
- Automated dispensing cabinets
- RIFD technology
