Staff Pharmacist- PRN, Evenings

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Reviews, compounding, dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients which includes dosing variations, nutritional needs and disease states associated with the various age groups.
• Supervises pharmacy technician activities including monitoring of all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
• Affords responsibility for competency and self-development in professional pharmacy practice.
• Provides patient focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital, to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelors or higher in Pharmacy
• No experience required
• Required Hospital pharmacy experience
• PREFERRED: Licenses and Certifications - PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia
