Clinical Pharmacist II ER
Job Summary
Your work plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by assuring the safety and effective use of medications as needed. The Clinical Pharmacist monitors and evaluates prescribed therapies to promote optimal drug use and evidence-based practices to reduce risks of drug misadventures.
Qualifications
- B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, a Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy is preferred.
- Current Nevada license to practice pharmacy required.
- Board certified in pharmacotherapy or other specialty board certification, AND
- At least one of the following:
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience or at least 5 years of general hospital pharmacy experience required; preferably within area of focus
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship
