Clinical Pharmacist II

About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist II collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication management. They provide expert drug knowledge, participate in educational programs, and perform both clinical and non-dispensing pharmacy activities, including drug distribution and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians, nurses, and staff on medication prescribing and administration.
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement positive interventions.
• Participate in pharmacy education and training.
• Perform drug distribution and supervisory duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer systems such as Cerner and basic medical terminology.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and self-direction skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and medication safety procedures.
