Clinical Pharmacist II
On-siteHealthcare$53.85–$78.13/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "NOTE: This range is based on Boston-area data..."? That's part of compensation description, but it's not boilerplate; it's part of compensation details. However it's a note about geographic location; we can keep it as part of Pay section.
We need to parse the posting.

We need to remove EEO, scam warning, etc. Also remove duplicated lines? Not many duplicates.
We need to produce sections:
- About the role: likely the position summary paragraph(s). Could combine the initial summary and description of schedule etc. The "Position Summary" includes many details: direct patient care, committees, education, training, precepting, permanent night position, weekends/holidays, busiest ED, 24/7 service, overnight shift schedule (9pm-7:30am 7/7), part of dedicated team, responsibilities (medical and surgical trauma response, provision of pharmacotherapy to adult and pediatric ED patients, preparation of select IV products, participation in QI projects), student precepting on overnight APPE rotation, training PGY1 residents, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Emergency Medicine.
We could put that under About the role.
- Responsibilities: maybe separate list of duties? But we already included many responsibilities in About the role. However we need to follow instruction: Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. So we need to decide which sections have content.
We have content for About the role (summary). We have content for Responsibilities (maybe we can separate out the bullet list of duties). We have Requirements (education, licensure). We have Qualifications (maybe PGY1 residency, experience). We have Skills (interpersonal skills). We have Benefits (list of benefits). We have Pay (compensation range). We have Schedule (the 7/7 overnight shift details). However some of these may overlap.
We must not invent or summarize away detail; we must preserve all substantive information. So we need to ensure we don't lose any detail by splitting into sections incorrectly. But we can duplicate content across sections? Probably not; we should partition the info logically without losing detail.
Let's extract each piece:
From Position Summary:
- Direct patient care activities: improving patient outcomes by optimizing pharmacotherapy, ensuring medication safety, promoting effective transitions of care.
- Opportunity to participate in committees and project work.
- Provide education and training to other health care providers.
- Precept Advance Pharmacy Practice Experience students and pharmacy residents.
- Permanent night position, includes weekends and holidays.
- Exciting position in one of the busiest EDs in the country.
- Department has provided 24/7 emergency medicine pharmacy services for several years.
- Pharmacist responsible for working overnight shift in ED (9 pm - 7:30 am) for seven days in a row from Wednesday through following Tuesday. Then 7 days off.
- Part of dedicated team of ED pharmacists within larger collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
- Responsibilities include medical and surgical trauma response, provision of pharmacotherapy to adult and pediatric ED patients, preparation of select IV products for immediate use, participation in departmental quality improvement projects.
- Position also responsible for student precepting on an overnight APPE rotation that if offered to multiple local schools of pharmacy.
- Motivated pharmacists may also get involved in training PGY1 residents, a PGY2 Critical Care resident, and/or a PGY2 Emergency Medicine resident.
Then after that we have "Position: Clinical Pharmacist II Department: Inpatient Pharmacy, Emergency Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours, 7/7 Overnight Education" - this seems like metadata; we can ignore Job ID etc. But we might incorporate schedule info.
Then "JOB REQUIREMENTS Work requires a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required Work requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts by the start date."
Then "Knowledge And Skills Work requires PGY1 residency with at least 1 year relevant experience.PGY2 in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care, or equivalent preferred.Work requires a level of proficiency with hospital pharmacy practice acquired with at least two years of hospital experience, and/or completion of an ASHP accredited residency in hospital pharmacy practice. Work requires substantial interpersonal skills towards our customers (particularly patients, physicians and nurses) and fellow employees of the hospital."
Then "Compensation Range $53.85- $78.13 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness. NOTE: This range is based on Boston-area data, and is subject to modification based on geographic location."
Then EEO etc and scam warning which we remove.
Thus we have:
- About the role: could be the initial summary (direct patient care, committees, education/training, precepting, permanent night position, weekends/holidays, busiest ED, 24/7 service). Might also include schedule? But schedule is separate.
- Responsibilities: list of duties: medical and surgical trauma response, provision of pharmacotherapy to adult and pediatric ED patients, preparation of select IV products for immediate use, participation in departmental quality improvement projects, student precepting on overnight APPE rotation, training PGY1 residents, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Emergency Medicine.
- Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from accredited college; licensure to practice pharmacy in MA by start date.
- Qualifications: PGY1 residency with at least 1 year relevant experience; PGY2 in EM or Critical Care preferred; proficiency with hospital pharmacy practice from at least two years hospital experience and/or ASHP accredited residency.
- Skills: substantial interpersonal skills towards customers (patients, physicians, nurses) and fellow employees.
- Benefits: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy; discretionary annual bonuses and merit increases; Flexible Spending Accounts; 403(b) savings matches; paid time off; career advancement opportunities; resources to support employee and family well-being.
- Pay: Compensation Range $53.85- $78.13; note about estimate based on minimum qualifications; comprehensive approach; factors; note about Boston-area data and geographic location.
- Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours, 7/7 Overnight; overnight shift 9 pm - 7:30 am for seven days in a row from Wednesday through following Tuesday; then 7 days off; permanent night position includes weekends and holidays.
We need to ensure we don't duplicate content. For example, the schedule details appear both in About the role (permanent night position, includes weekends and holidays, overnight shift) and in Schedule section. We should avoid duplication: maybe put schedule details only in Schedule section, and keep About the role more generic (direct patient care, committees, education/training, precepting, busiest ED, 24/7 service, dedicated team). But we must preserve all substantive info; if we remove schedule details from About the role, we still have them in Schedule section, so it's preserved. However the About the role originally included "permanent night position, includes weekends and holidays" and "overnight shift...". If we move those to Schedule, we still preserve them. So we can keep About the role without those specifics.
Similarly, responsibilities list includes student precepting and training residents; we might also have mentioned those in About the role earlier (precept APPE students and pharmacy residents, training PGY1 residents, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Emergency Medicine). To avoid duplication, we could keep those in Responsibilities only, and
