Clinical Pharmacist I

About the role

The Summary Clinical Pharmacist I position at Sinai Hospital involves a every third weekend rotation schedule, with weekends rotating through day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of medication preparation and dispensing
• Medication order computer entry
• Monitoring of patient medication therapy
• Provision of medication information to patients, providers, nurses, and other allied health professionals
• Identification, recommendation, resolution, and prevention of medication-related problems through interventions with providers
• Supervision and direction of pharmacy support personnel to ensure timely medication availability

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
• Registered Pharmacist in Maryland

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
