About the role
As a Pharmacist at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, your work plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by assuring the safe and effective use of medications as needed. The Clinical Pharmacist monitors and evaluates prescribed therapies to promote optimal drug use and evidence-based practices to reduce risks of drug misadventures. You will interact daily with your pharmacy team, nurses, physicians, and other facility staff in the hospital and intervene in conflicts between the Pharmacy and medical staff regarding drug therapy issue resolutions that may arise. You will provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, order laboratory tests, and medication monitoring according to established policies and procedures.
