Clinical Pharmacist Atrium Health Virtual Pharmacy Services

Responsibilities

• Oversight of pharmaceutical care and evaluation of biomedical literature
• Patient and caregiver counseling on medication therapy
• Design and monitor patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens
• Review and interpret medication orders accurately
• Participation in medical emergency management
• Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Preparation, dispensing, and management of medication storage in accordance with regulations

Qualifications

• Licensed in Georgia or North Carolina required
• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school
• Two years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
