Responsibilities
- Oversight of pharmaceutical care and evaluation of biomedical literature
- Patient and caregiver counseling on medication therapy
- Design and monitor patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens
- Review and interpret medication orders accurately
- Participation in medical emergency management
- Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Preparation, dispensing, and management of medication storage in accordance with regulations
Qualifications
- Licensed in Georgia or North Carolina required
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school
- Two years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
