Clinical Pharmacist
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Evaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe and effective specialty therapy management
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education regarding specialty medications and treatment plans
- Monitor drug therapies, identify potential therapeutic issues, and recommend clinical interventions when appropriate
- Collaborate closely with Intake, Referral Services, Reimbursement, Managed Markets, Nursing, Clinical Services, and Pharmacy Operations teams to support seamless patient care
- Serve as a clinical escalation point for prescription, medication, and patient care concerns
- Support onboarding and referral processes to help patients access therapy as efficiently as possible
- Oversee pharmacy technician activities and documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, accreditation activities, and performance improvement efforts
- Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Nevada
- Strong understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operations
- Experience providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety

Pay
$48 - $62 USD per hour
