About the Role
As the Clinical Pharmacist you are responsible for providing general clinical and pharmacy services. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
Responsibilities
- You will interpret orders and transcribes or verifies them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
- You will accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
- You will sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection.
- You will provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
- You will provide basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer systems.
Qualifications
- B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required.
- One year of hospital experience is required.
- Residency training or board certification is preferred.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
- TSBP is required.
- ACPE IV certification is required.
