Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical nursing skills deemed competent under the direction/supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform delegated tasks such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter.
• Work in close collaboration with the assigned RN to deliver safe, quality, patient‑centered care.
• Adhere to the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes, and Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) policy.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; certification or training as applicable.
• Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional qualifications: CNA or LPN license required; Clinical Partners hired prior to 10/1/20 have two years to obtain Florida CNA licensure; 1 year experience preferred; previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida preferred.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $17.11 – $22.24 per hour, depending on experience.
