About the role

The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e. wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statues and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical nursing skills as deemed competent
• Perform delegated tasks including wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter
• Work under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse
• Collaborate closely with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, training or experience required
• Licensed Practical Nurse, Basic Life Support, and Certified Nursing Assistant certifications required
• CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
• 1 year experience preferred
• Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in the state of Florida preferred

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.77 - $21.80 / hour depending on experience.
