Clinical Operations Manager- NICU- Simon Family Tower

About the role

The Clinical Operations Manager for the NICU at Simon Family Tower is responsible for translating and achieving strategic priorities and outcomes. This includes improving quality and safety, managing care affordability, enhancing patient and team member experiences, and advancing nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interprofessional team to create an environment where excellence in patient and organizational outcomes can be achieved.
• Advocate for and embed evidenced-based practices and professional nursing standards.
• Provide oversight of a 24/7, weekends, and holiday-operated unit with 60 beds.
• Support the Progressive Care NICU, a 12-bed unit on the 8th floor of Simon Family Tower.
• Ensure the unit is fully operational and staffed.
• Be available for evening and weekend rounding, as well as on-call availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) or Master of Nursing (MSN).
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Qualifications

• Experience in NICU or strong leadership background preferred.

• Experience in creating and maintaining high-quality patient care environments.
• Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.

Schedule

This role is a full-time, day-shift position, with availability for evening and weekend rounding, as well as on-call availability.
