Clinical Operations Manager for Pulmonary and Blood Gas Labs

Position Summary

The Clinical Operations Manager for Pulmonary and Blood Gas Labs provides administrative, technical, and clinical direction for Respiratory Care Services. They oversee and manage the blood gas lab and pulmonary lab operations for adult and pediatric respiratory care. They ensure all programs, practices, policies, and procedures are consistent with the Medical Center's policies, goals, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required within 24 months of hire or transfer in RT or business.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of New Jersey. BLS is required.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years acute respiratory care in a hospital setting required. Management experience in respiratory care preferred.
• Skills: Solid understanding of Blood Gas CAP regulatory requirements, Respiratory Care Quality& PI, organizational vision and values; strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills required.

• Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
