Clinical Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and clinical support staff of assigned practice(s)
- Ensure smooth efficient operations and communication with providers, support associates and patients, as well as corporate departments and market leadership
- Monitor performance of clinical team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction
- Coordinate and/or facilitate training of technicians; conduct skill set assessments on all techs upon hire and as scheduled/required throughout the year
- Oversight of clinical support staff hours/lunch/breaks and within scheduled hours
- Monitor all role responsibilities of direct reports
- Ensure excellent customer service; ensure clinical staff is delivering timely check in/out (visit flow), appropriate medical support, care and testing, excellent in person and via phone customer service
- Work with management teams to develop and assist with training needs as they arise
- Oversee and ensure applicable training for all clinical support associates based on roles
- Random auditing of performance in EMR to identify training needs
- Ensure associates model and follow all customer service skills, ophthalmic testing, insurance verification and prior authorizations, and appropriate surgical and follow up appointment scheduling
- Coordinate position need job postings, interview/hire as needed
- Conduct performance reviews and performance plans for direct reports
- Oversee appropriate work performance issues – discipline documentation
- Act as liaison to patients and providers to ensure overall patient satisfaction
- Handle staff and patient complaints
- Coordinate and schedule on site vendors, repairs, and all aspects of the physical buildings for day-to-day operations in conjunction with the Senior/Regional Director of Operation
- Ensure safety training and policies are followed
- Ensure all staff are trained in HIPAA and enforce HIPAA regulatory requirements
- All other responsibilities that may be assigned

Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business, healthcare administration or related fields (preferred)
- High school graduate, with previous work experience in project management, leadership in healthcare administration, business or related field, or previous equivalent experience in a medical practice
- Technology savvy, with competency in Office Suite and ability to learn software applications as required
Schedule
This is a full-time position located in Ft. Myers, FL. Weekly travel among the regional offices will be required. The work environment is fast-paced, requires strong time management skills and is focused on results-driven leadership.
