Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure comprehensive coverage of clinical and operational functions.
- Support recruitment and onboarding to maintain fully staffed care teams aligned with Newport’s mission.
- Develop and implement a clinical program schedule to meet payer requirements and ensure patient safety.
- Manage staffing plans, time off requests, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to clinical and direct care staff, enhancing their skills and confidence.
- Lead monthly staff meetings and facilitate treatment team and clinical supervision sessions to deliver training, review protocols, and enhance daily operations.
- Facilitate weekly clinical groups at assigned program.
- Provide clinical support by carrying a caseload in the absence of the Primary Therapist.
- Facilitate smooth client admissions and support families throughout the care process.
- Lead CPI and de-escalation training, ensuring consistent competency development across teams.
- Conduct clinical documentation audits, ensuring timely chart note completion, accurate recordkeeping.
- Monitor client feedback and outcomes to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, fostering a culture of accountability.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
- Licensed or close to licensed, or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided required.
- Ability to lead clinical teams, facilitate groups, and fulfill operations duties.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disordered populations preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a residential setting preferred.
Pay
Compensation for this role ranges from $100,000-$121,000 per year depending on education and experience.
