Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer a comprehensive education program for patients and their families.
- Function as part of a multidisciplinary team utilizing age-appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages.
- Deliver direct education, coaching, and guidance to all program participants using the Transtheoretical Model of Health Behavior Change and motivational interviewing skills.
- Be willing to work a variable schedule including some weekends and evenings.
- Be able to travel throughout the community and to the different Norton Healthcare campuses.
Qualifications
- One year as a clinical nutritionist
- Bachelor Degree
- Dietitian (KY)
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (National)
- Desired: Master Degree
