About the Job
Lead oversight of the NICU Clinical Nutrition Program and Nutrition Lab while driving clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care in a leading academic health system. You'll oversee daily nutrition services, drive program excellence, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. In this position, you'll ensure regulatory compliance, manage clinical operations, and support both team development and client satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical nutrition operations for a large account, system, or multiple contracts, overseeing both non-exempt and entry-level professional staff
- Ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction by directing program execution and maintaining strong relationships
- Implement operating standards, manage budgets, and drive quality improvement initiatives across departments
- Promote best practices by staying current with nutrition research, trends, policies, and certifications
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo and client policies
- Support business growth by contributing to new service development and participating in strategic initiatives or special projects
- Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions
- Mentor and develop staff, support regulatory compliance, and advance nutrition programs across a fast-paced health system

Requirements
- Education Requirement: Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines or, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor's degree meeting ACEND requirements
- Management Experience: 1-2 years
- Related Experience: 1-3 years
- Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire; must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
