Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.
- Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.
- Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards and patient bill of rights.
- Serves as a behavioral role model of nursing practice and clinical expert resource to nursing staff in the provision of care to patients.
- Contributes to the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care outcomes resulting in continuous quality improvement while maximizing resources.
- Promotes continuity of care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patient, family and all significant others.
- Conforms to legal requirements of nursing practice and hospital policies and procedures.
Required
- Masters Of Nursing
- Three (3) years of experience in health care field, including significant experience with clinical nursing and education in a critical care setting
