Clinical Nurse RN – Bone Marrow Transplant – HP11 - Per Diem - Days
About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse RN in the Bone Marrow Transplant unit, you will float to inpatient units to administer chemotherapy to patients. Utilize your in-depth knowledge to serve as a resource for patients, their families, and other staff nurses. Provide education to nursing colleagues, focusing on exceptional patient outcomes. Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to improve the health of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy to patients in inpatient units.
- Manage symptoms and support patients throughout their treatment.
- Educate patients, families, and nursing colleagues on oncology care and outcomes.
- Serve as a resource for staff nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in shared clinical decision-making.
Requirements
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in oncology.
- At least two years of experience in administering chemotherapy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
- BCLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification.

Pay
Salary Range: $86.26/hour.
Schedule
This is a per diem day position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Weekends are a possibility based on scheduling.
All roles require on-site presence, so employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
