Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care
- Educates on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use
- Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Participates in professional development
- Develops and documents personalized care plans
- Collaborates with the healthcare team, patients, and families
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Considers patient preferences and barriers
- Maintains alertness and safety at all times
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensure: Valid RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience
- Preferred experience in GI, ICU, or ED settings
Additional Details
- Training provided in pre/post/procedural care
- Flexibility to cover call shifts
- Work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
