Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation while promoting patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment, and medication use.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities while engaging in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Affirms physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, and spiritual factors.
• Maintains safety-sensitive practices, working in a constant state of alertness.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• PREFERRED: OB/L&D experience and BSN degree.
