Clinical Nurse - Post Surgical Ortho Unit - Bonus Eligible

Role Overview Seeking Registered Nurses to join a dynamic team in a short-stay inpatient unit specializing in Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients. The role involves providing direct patient care, assessing needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on post-operative management. Nurses will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a healing environment. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, including patient education on illness management and medication administration.Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and engage in ongoing professional development.Develop and document personalized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, culture, and preferences.Maintain safety standards, demonstrating alertness and safe work practices, as this is a safety-sensitive position. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.RN license required; no prior experience necessary, though two years is preferred.Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
