About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity PACU environment, managing diverse cases including neuro, transplant, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to standards and collaborative goals.
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication management, and injury recovery.
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participate in ongoing professional development.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and psychosocial needs.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, ensuring holistic care.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness.
Requirements
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred).
- No prior experience required; less than two years of experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
