Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, primarily focusing on eye trauma. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes patient and family education, communication of care plans, and addressing psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Key Duties Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.Assess patient needs holistically, considering preferences and potential barriers to involvement.Participate in professional development and ensure adherence to standards of nursing care.Contribute to a healing environment by educating patients and families on illness management and post-care needs.Assist in complex surgical procedures, working with advanced technology and experienced medical professionals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN licensure.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
