Clinical Nurse - Night Shift

About the Role

This full-time night shift nursing position offers an opportunity to gain critical care experience in a Magnet®-recognized hospital with a strong focus on nursing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; RN license required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
