Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Manager in Medical Surgical Oncology - Nights, you will:

  • Oversee the delivery of quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff to improve clinical practice and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to drive continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A current New York State RN license.
  • At least 5 years of progressive nursing management experience, preferably in oncology settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience with oncology-specific care protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation processes.

$145,000 - $168,000 annually.
