About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position involves patient care assessment, planning, and implementation, as well as collaborating with various healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
- Ensure clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
- Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities, providing clinical oversight to clinical staff such as RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborate with other health care providers, hospital personnel, and Wound Care Center providers to address clinical and patient needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements, adhering to regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
- Engage in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and support.
- Provide staff recognition through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to align with program objectives, including budgetary and financial aspects.
- If the center offers Vein Care services, coordinate the Vein Clinic and assist with patient care.
- Work closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Perform documentation as a scribe if necessary, following Healogics and hospital policies.
- Act as a hyperbaric safety director after completing the required training, performing chamber operations or emergency chamber operations as needed.
- Support patient care based on Center staffing needs, and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience is beneficial.
- Wound care certification is preferred.

Skills
- Proficiency in hospital databases and web-based applications.
- Physical demands include being in a stationary position for extended periods, viewing computer screens for extended periods, frequent keying, moving items up to 20 pounds, and pushing/pulling.
- Traveling may be required.
Benefits
The salary for this position generally ranges between $74,700.00 - $100,700.00 annually. This range is based on potential employee qualifications, including education, experience, geography, and operational needs.

Normal office environment with occasional patient care responsibilities.
