About the role

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in managing wound care centers, ensuring optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction. This position collaborates closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet center objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting assessments and implementing care plans according to protocols and procedures.
  • Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare providers and hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
  • Engages in staff development, offering both general and individual instruction and orientation.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
  • Coordinates Vein Care services if applicable, and assists in providing care after completing Healogics training.
  • Works with Program Director and Medical Director to achieve quality indicators and budgetary goals.
  • Performs documentation as a scribe and acts as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing required training.
  • Manages patient care based on center staffing needs, performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Current RN license required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • One year RN experience required, two years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).

Skills

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
  • Knowledge of hospital databases and web-based systems.

Benefits

Salary range: $83,000.00 - $111,900.00 Annually. This range is based on potential qualifications, including education, experience, geography, and operational needs, as well as other considerations permitted by law.

$83,000.00 - $111,900.00 Annually

Schedule

Normal office environment with occasional patient care visits.
