About the role
The Clinical Manager oversees a 44-bed skilled nursing and long-term care neighborhood, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered care. This role drives resident satisfaction, advances quality outcomes, and fosters strong employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, implement, and oversee clinical care of guests/residents in skilled nursing/long-term care neighborhoods
- Maintain clinical practice and processes in accordance with Erickson Senior Living Management Policies and Procedures and nursing standards of practice
- Own documentation process, including MDS, care plans, incident reporting, and charting requirements
- Ensure appropriate staff is on duty based on guest/resident acuity and provide recommendations based on identified needs of the neighborhood
- Monitor all aspects of infection control for staff and guests/residents and collaborate with clinical leadership to develop an appropriate process to ensure effective infection control monitoring, including antibiotic stewardship
- Analyze, develop, and implement Quality Improvement measures for clinical indicators/benchmarking such as Falls, Pressure Ulcers, Medication Errors, Restraint Utilization, Re-hospitalization, Anti-psychotic utilization, ADL splits/documentation, etc.
- Collaborate with Staff Development Coordinator to ensure all required training and competency reviews are completed according to federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in clinical leadership meetings such as Wound Rounds, Clinical Operations Meeting, Utilization Review, and Performance Improvement/Risk Management/Safety (PI/RM/S) Committee
- Provide leadership and guidance during annual survey/complaint investigations as well as other regulatory audits/reviews
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a RN on a nursing unit (skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living or hospital)
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which they operate
- Current CPR required
- Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
- Experience with electronic medical record preferred

Pay
Salary range $100k-115k/year with eligibility for annual bonus.
