Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, oversight, and operational management for the clinical nursing, medical support, and front desk teams within the Health & Performance division.
- Supervises, coaches, schedules, develops, and evaluates nursing and administrative staff while fostering a collaborative, guest-focused culture and ensuring departmental performance standards are achieved.
- Oversees daily clinical operations, supporting nursing and medical activities including triage, clinical diagnostics, physician assistance, guest pathways, and other clinical functions as needed.
- Develops, implements, and maintains departmental policies, procedures, workflows, and training programs to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Manages administrative operations including staffing coordination, payroll processes, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing education and development for nursing and support staff.
- Maintains oversight of medical records, licensing, permits, certifications, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable organizational, state, and federal standards.
- Manages inventory, ordering, and budget-related activities for medical supplies, office supplies, retail products, and non-retail departmental resources.
- Audits service charges, authorizations, billing documentation, and operational records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Canyon Ranch policies and procedures.
- Collaborates closely with physicians, practitioners, leadership teams, and cross-functional departments to support seamless operations, quality care delivery, and achievement of business objectives.
- Models and reinforces Canyon Ranch service standards by proactively resolving guest concerns, supporting service recovery efforts, and ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) credential from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, active state Nursing License and CPR certification for healthcare providers.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or medical office setting.
- Previous supervisory, leadership, or operational management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical record management, and clinical compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical record systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make independent decisions, and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment.
