About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager for Adolescent Psychiatry is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within the adolescent psychiatry unit. This includes managing staff, ensuring patient care standards are met, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the adolescent psychiatry unit
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous process improvement activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric settings
• Experience in management and leadership roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Experience in adolescent mental health care
• Knowledge of adolescent development and psychopathology
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
