Clinical Nurse (LDRP)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit, focusing on obstetric and neonatal patients. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients' families. Promotes patient-centered care, safety, and regulatory compliance while educating families on illness management and post-treatment needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document care plans aligned with standards of nursing care.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure effective communication across the care continuum and advocate for patient safety.

Requirements

• RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years L&D experience required.
• OB certification and BSN degree are preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety focus.
