Clinical Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educates patients and families on managing their health, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities. Responsibilities Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.Supports a safe, healing environment through patient and family education and safety initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN licensure.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
