Clinical Nurse - Labor & Delivery

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educates patients and families on managing their health, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Supports a safe, healing environment through patient and family education and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and active RN licensure.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
