About the Role

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes patient- and family-centered care
  • Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
  • Participates in safety and quality initiatives
  • Develops and communicates individualized care plans
  • Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients
  • Ensures communication across the care continuum
  • Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license
  • No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred
  • Skill in critical assessment, patient advocacy, and teamwork
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-quality care environment
  • Commitment to professional development and compliance with standards
