About the Role
Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient- and family-centered care
- Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
- Participates in safety and quality initiatives
- Develops and communicates individualized care plans
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients
- Ensures communication across the care continuum
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times
Requirements
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active RN license
- No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred
- Skill in critical assessment, patient advocacy, and teamwork
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-quality care environment
